This is a recent article that was posted on iMechanica, describing some new technology in the prosthesis field. The post is titled “World’s First Spherical Artificial Eye Has 3D Retina”. This post outlines a new artificial eye that has been created which supposedly has more advanced capabilities than a human eye. Is is called the Electrochemical Eye (EC-Eye) and it is the first artificial eye that features a 3D retina, which is changing the game for artificial eyes!
