The included remote is a nice touch, giving you the option of controlling it from your couch without having to get up. Anything that allows us to be lazy, we love! Dyson Pure Cool Me Personal Purifying Fan

This “personal fan” from Dyson is designed for a fan that you position near you, so you are just cooling one person instead of a whole room. As it will typically be installed in a close proximity to people, it comes with HEPA filter installed which aids in purifying the immediate area around it, supposedly taking 99.97% of the pollutants and allergens out of the air. it is compact in size which makes it a great option for a nightstand or side table. The direction of the airflow can be adjusted by maneuvering the top of the dome,. This will be different that the other portable ACs on this list, rather than a broad distribution of cool air, it is more like a direction stream of air. If you are looking for cool air in a smaller package, with directed airflow for cooling just one person, this is the option for you!
